OUR FOUNDER
For 23 years, I’ve lived and breathed property management. I’ve witnessed the dedication of our professionals—the late nights, the complex problem-solving, the relentless commitment it takes to deliver not just service, but excellence.
And yet, despite the scale and significance of our work—providing homes for nearly a third of Australian households—Property Management has too often been seen as a support function, not the strategic force it truly is.
That’s why I created PM/One.
Background
Fiona Blayney’s career began not with a grand plan, but with a passion—for people, for property, and for doing things differently. Starting out in real estate in the late 1990s, Fiona quickly carved a niche for herself in property management, driven by a sharp mind, deep empathy, and an unshakable belief that PM was far more than a back-office function—it was the heart of the business.
By the early 2000s, she launched her consultancy, Real+, with a mission to help agencies build smarter, stronger, and more human-centric operations. Through coaching, training, and strategic development, she has since worked with thousands of businesses across Australia and New Zealand, empowering leaders, growing teams, and helping transform PM from reactive service to proactive strategy.
A natural speaker and sharp industry commentator, Fiona has become one of the most recognised voices in property management. But it’s her ability to cut through the noise—with clarity, compassion, and bold thinking—that has cemented her place as a true change agent.
